Marketing Manager

Job Description

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of marketing programs and demand generation campaigns which includes acquiring new leads and nurturing existing contacts via integrated field marketing programs, trade shows, advertising, email campaigns, promotions, SEO/PPC, and social media marketing. This role will manage the execution and ongoing optimization of existing SLI Systems programs with the goal of increasing the prospect pipeline and qualified leads opportunities.

  • Ensure a consistent flow of qualified inbound leads to a global sales team through creative program development, planning, and execution of multi-touch marketing campaigns and tactical marketing programs
  • Recommend program strategies and plan program calendar in conjunction with product management, sales, business development and corporate marketing activities
  • Oversee the development of lead nurturing programs to improve conversion rates at each stage of the leads funnel
  • Manage SEO and PPC campaigns
  • Work with inside and direct sales team to qualify leads
  • Manage partner marketing programs in support of the business development team
  • Analyze campaign performance data on an ongoing basis to optimize and improve performance, including creative testing, offer analysis and landing page optimization
  • Report on program metrics to senior management on a regular basis and ensure that the results of individual events and overall programs are measured correctly to meet business objectives
  • Make recommendations and generate ideas for future program investments and new measures to improve existing programs
  • This position will report to the VP Marketing

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience managing marketing programs preferably in the software or other high tech industry
  • Proven success in the development of business to business lead generation programs
  • Experience working in collaboration with direct sales and inside sales teams, partner managers, and customer service managers
  • Ability to execute campaigns, define campaign metrics, analyze results, and make recommendations to program managers
  • Strong data analysis, information organization and project management skills
  • Hard-working, detailed oriented individual that enjoys a fun, fast-paced environment
  • A natural communicator with experience presenting results and handling scrutiny
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com and Eloqua lead/campaign management software or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and capable of working independently within a team
  • Four year bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration
